UGH. This could be long and drawn out but I'm going to skip to the good stuff. The honey, the bff and I are getting a house! Moving out this week getting the fuck out of Alpine. I am SOOO excited. This next year is gonna be a good one, hopefully for EVERYONE. To top it all off I have been SO busy my head would like to explode... I truly wish there was about 5 of me, things would be a lot easier.
Did the Del Mar Fair today with tity, Cali cruisin' style of course. Attempted to make it to watch Tany dance (epic fail). Going back at least for CCR... Brittle and I are going to go on a sewing rampage next week. Be prepared.

Tim's bday weekend was pretty fun.
Party on Friday (only stayed a bit cause I am sick)
Went camping at the Arroyo Tapiado mud caves, it was a lot of fun, despite missy getting lost but it was an adventure to find her in the dark : )
The mud caves are awesome, unfortunately I didn't take pictures this time.
My legs are super buff now from climbing, Fishy's a half billy goat champ, and fetus' head probably still hurts : )
Now my keys are locked in my car, I am waiting for my sister to bring me my spare so I can go to work and school, and being sick still really sucks. Kadan tonight?

Woke up at 4am to go pick up Cassidy's brother in Calipatria.
This is what that looked like... (and yes those are cows)
That is when I realized where we were and here is where we ended up!!!
Me and Paulie have wanted to go here for a while, now I am excited I know where it is. Not only that the man gave me a present and I promised to bring back some paint for him. Next time I am bringing my real camera!
Came home walked the dogs (I found a new route thats about 2 miles but my FAVORITE for walking them so far). Now I am in the process of cleaning. Shortly, thanks to 2 hours of sleep I will be passed the fuck out. |

Ugh the past 2 weeks have been CRAZY.
I got a new jeep and an iphone (tell me cool apps guys!!!). yay!
The past 5 weeks in a row have been filled with fun camping adventures.
Work has been SUPER busy which is always amazing.

Just finished rat city riots music video the other day.

SO...
The other day my sister was working on a comedy spanish project for school and came by the salon to grab some extensions to give her friend bobby and OBVIOUSLY fake mullet... Meanwhile this new client walks in and right back out, and has the nerve to leave this review on yelp...
Ghetto! I walked in and walked right out when I saw one of the stylists putting in extensions on the waiting bench! Plus, the girl I was supposed to see looked like she was 16 and she was wearing baggy jeans and huge sneakers with the tongues hanging out. If this is hip, I am not.
The "16 year" old is my new employe Tany who is 23 and super cute...
The "stylist" was my 16 year old sister putting a clip in to give her friend a mullet.
WOW. This pisses me off to no end, it would be different if she got her hair done and was like, eh it sucked...But she didn't. Also with how the economy has been, we have been doing very well thanks to all of our good reviews on yelp, but now I am afraid this could really hurt us.
So if I do your hair I would LOVE LOVE it if you could (if you haven't) leave us a review, right now we have 14 good ones. Haha, if we get enough it will push that dumb bitch out of the way... Salon Styletto's yelp...
Other then that. Me and Paulie went to the desert and to the Salton Sea this weekend with my family, if was a lot of fun! A very much needed weekend. I'll post pictures later. |

Made each other dinner, but shit I am SOO exhausted from this week....
Yesterday Fetus and I went to get a Friday the 13th tattoo, well kinda, I talked the guy itno giving me something else that is probably the stupidest most amazing thing ever, and she chickened out : P
Thursday, met the new barber shop neighbors.
Did some hairs and went to dinner with Jennifer...
It has been a real nice week.
Next week I have a bunch of photo shoots and art parties to look forward to. yay! |

the best part about new years that i always look forward to is the twilight zone marathon! yay.

saturday, had xmas with the grandma, got ready to go to ardies but by the time sascha and cassidy got up here it was late so we decided to celebrate school being out with champagne and board games.
planned a date day to go to the snow for today!!!
SOOOOOO FUN! we sledded, made snowman, built snowmen... it was awesome

aside from feeling like crap today, and finding out I have a hernia earlier this week,
this has been one of the best weeks i have had in a while...
thursday had a yummy dinner with my family, then came home, made josh bday cupcakes and went to wait outside of circuit city with everyone. haha it was a fun night/morning.
black friday, we got some good stuff. then drove home with a brain feeling like slurpee due to lack of sleep.
took a nap then had a thanksgiving the revenge dinner party at our house.
it was a lot of fun, i wanna start having more. ok? ok.
after that, went to kyles also a lot of fun.
yesterday we went to kutchies
learned to play kings, i like it. then me and paulie drove up to descanso to lay and look at the stars... it was rad. we got home at like 4:30 and i didn't end up getting up today until 3.
i hate that.
all ive done today is lay down and finish crocheting my slippers

So today marks the year anniversary of my grandpas passing.
It is kind of weird, its harder then I thought but at the same time it has definitely made me a stronger person.
I do think about him everyday, but at first it was all sad/mad thoughts, I cried for a really long time. Now all I seem to think about is the good stuff, it keeps a smile on my face and sometimes even makes me laugh. rip grumpy.
back to business,,,,
got my merchant account set up yesterday, now and can accpet cards. after that me, mom and sister went on a crazy roller coaster ride.
other then that, cassidy helped me with my hair, we played little big planet. Went to a party. it was a good night. I tried to steal her dog.
we will see what today brings.

I have a guy lifterbaron.com working on the logo for the salon right now, I am so excited, he does awesome work. The rough first set alone turned out rad.
other then that all I am waiting on is my establishment license from the board which should come early next week. YAY!
side note: i got a betta the other day. he was the most beautiful betta ever. black and gold with a blue with black polkadotted fin. yeah well, i guess he was diseased cause he died not even a week later : (
he turned all fuzzy and his color went away. i did everything i could but nothing could save him.
i have a picture of him on my good camera, i just haven't uploaded any of those in a long time.
BUT his ghost shrimp friend is still kickin. so now i have one lonely ghost shrimp, I may just end up keeping him as the salon mascot. |
